Megalith Explorer (“the app”, “we”) is an information guide to prehistoric stone monuments. This policy explains what data the app handles.

Data we collect

The app does not require an account and does not ask you for personal information such as your name, email address or phone number. It does not access your device location.

Data stored on your device

The city you choose for distance calculations and the notes you write are saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device. They are never sent to us or to any third party. You can delete your notes at any time on the My Notes page, or remove all data by clearing your browser data.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting server may automatically record technical information such as IP address, browser type and the time of a request. These logs are used only to keep the service secure and working, and are not used to identify you.

Children

The app is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be published on this page.
